Kitchens & 3 Plants To Liven Atmospheres

By Jennifer Marie Anderson

There are many elements which help to make the best kitchen imaginable. Some of the most common include - but are not limited to - appliances, ingredients, and hygienic products. However, I believe that it is just as important to look at the different types of plants which can be implemented. For those who are curious as to what options are available, here are 3 of the most effective choices, each one with their own strengths and incentives to consider.

If you want to grow something that's simpler, you cannot go wrong with mint. The main selling point of mint plants is the familiar aroma they give off, which actually makes them ideal for tea, if you would prefer to use their leaves in that way. Regardless, this can serve as a great start to decorating your kitchen. Of course, there are other examples to make note of, as you will learn through the amount of research you'll undoubtedly take part in.

For those who aren't opposed to giving plants more attention, you cannot go wrong with marigolds. These are the types of flowers you've probably seen numerous times before, seeing as how they come in an array of reds and yellows, their colors nothing short of vibrant. However, they require a bit more care than the mint plants mentioned earlier. If you are okay with replanting these on a yearly basis, you'll find that marigolds have more than their share of benefits.

Grape ivy is another potential option, especially amongst those who would like to utilize overhead plants. It very much fits the definition of ivy, seeing as how different vines will hang off. Each of these possess their own colors and textures, too, which makes them that much more pleasing to the eye. In order for these to grow effectively, and maintain their condition in the long term, you should make sure that they gain enough sunlight each day.

If you're looking to build a better kitchen, it's easy to see why certain plants can be used. Some of these may branch off from being simply visual implementations, as they can offer different aromas and flavors as well. With that said, though, everyone will have their own idea of what plants look best, or which ones have the most value. Keep the previous examples in mind, so that you have a stronger idea of where to look next.
